Project Highlights:
Interplan’s relationship with ASN began in 2001 and has matured with each successive built-out. In our third full office development together, comprising approximately 32,000 square feet and located in downtown DC, the design team created a work space that meets the needs and growing functions of the organization, as well as incorporating design objectives to promote wellness and flexibility for all employees.
The elevator lobby and reception, with high ceilings and decorative light fixtures, immediately announce the new finish palette composed of dark stone floor tiles, warm eucalyptus wood paneling and bright color highlights in the lounge chairs and shag style area rug taken from ASN’s rebranding initiatives. A neutral palette of soft white and gray permeate throughout the workstations and perimeter offices, and serves as a neutral background for ASN’s curated art collection. All offices and workstations employ ergonomic seating and sit/stand adjustable height desks. Privacy rooms are provided for wellness, private moments, or meditation. Phone rooms are provided for private conversation areas for staff or visiting guests.
The lunchroom offers more than 50 seats in various styles and configurations, with sound abatement ceiling planks above to soften noise levels. Numerous conference rooms allow for team collaboration along with several informal lounge and huddle spaces. Brand inspired colors are placed in furniture materials in lounge and meeting areas.
