What We Do

Interplan completed the design of a new optometry office, Eye Doctors of Washington, in Chevy Chase, MD. This thoughtfully planned space accommodates separate areas for pediatric and adult eye care and a dedicated laser surgery suite for excimer procedures, creating a modern environment that blends functionality with aesthetics. Neutral and natural elements were chosen to evoke calmness, and the layout was carefully designed to foster a welcoming and efficient setting for patients and staff.

Exam rooms were strategically positioned at the center of the floor to maximize natural light, allowing corridors along the perimeter to benefit from the exterior windows. Wood accents in the reception and diagnostic areas add warmth and sophistication, reinforcing a sense of refinement throughout the space. Furniture selections, curated by Lines Furniture, contribute to a cohesive and polished environment, ensuring durability and ergonomic support for patients and staff.

Special attention was given to the pediatric area, where a vibrant wall mural and oversized round pendant lights create a playful and engaging atmosphere for young visitors. In contrast, the adult and laser surgery areas maintain a serene and professional ambiance, ensuring that every patient receives care in a setting that meets their specific needs. The overall design promotes seamless navigation and efficient workflow, resulting in a cohesive space that elevates the delivery of high-quality eye care.
