Neighborhood Health Community Clinic, a primary healthcare provider, engaged Interplan to renovate and expand its space in Annandale, Virginia, to nearly double the clinic's suite. This project aimed to create an open, centralized layout for the nurses' station, an arrangement poised to optimize accessibility and streamline operations for the Medical Assistants attending to their patients.
During the project, the design team took special considerations and planning to ensure the office was fully functional during construction. The 4,700 sf space includes new partitions, ceilings, millwork, finishes, and light fixtures, bringing new life into the renovated and expanded spaces.
A light, tranquil finish palette boasting neutral tones creates a calming ambiance for patients and staff. This selection of new finishes for the expansion was also interwoven into the existing space to create a cohesive feel throughout the clinic.
